CIA MuseumBrainchild of the Executive Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, William E Colby, in 1972, the CIA Museum is the national archive for the collection, preservation, documentation and exhibition of intelligence artifacts, culture, and history. Colby's aim was to create, "A very selective accumulation of truly unique items." According to the CIA Museum it, "supports the Agency’s operational, recruitment, and training missions and helps visitors better understand CIA and the contributions it makes to national security." |
