Spy TV

Espionage, Spies, Covert Operations, Secret Agents - all have been subject to television entertainment.
And it all started as far back as 1960, with Patrick McGoohan's John Drake, in Danger Man.

"Every government has its secret service branch. America, CIA; France, Deuxième Bureau; England, MI5. NATO also has its own. A messy job? Well that's when they usually call on me or someone like me. Oh yes, my name is Drake, John Drake."

The snowball effect saw the espionage genre spin into sub-genres.
We have experienced and enjoyed comedies such as Get Smart, and complex non-gadget Cold War shows like Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
Some shows have even been turned into cinematic blockbuster franchises such as Mission Impossible and in the not too distant future, The Man From UNCLE.
if we have missed any off the list on the right, please let us know.
