Cigarette Rocket

Picture
Ninja stars and associated martial arts skills were then revealed (we had already had a bit of sumo). No gadgetry here, everything on show had been around for centuries, but to the viewing public, Kendo and the variety of Japanese sword-play games were all very new.
Tiger even had his own Q Branch.
And no decent Q Branch would allow a visit without something new to take away, so how about Rocket Guns?
And its sibling; the cigarette rocket – accurate up to thirty yards. Which was apparently, “Very useful for people who smoke too many cigarettes. Like you.”
Bond likes it, “Very neat”.
Tanaka, “It can save your life, this cigarette”.
Bond, “You sound like a commercial”.
Smoking awareness 1967 style.
The writers must have been devastated that Woody Allen had already unveiled this device in Casino Royale earlier that year.

Electronic Cigarettes were marketed as a ‘quit smoking’ option, but as with any similar tool, such as nicotine patches, research by international health bodies saw a blurring of research, acceptable studies and terminology. Electronic Cigarettes are now advertised as a healthier alternative to smoking.
Put plainly, an e-cigarette is a personal vapouriser that works like an electronic inhaler that vapourises a liquid solution into an aerosol spray. The tobacco smoking simulation replicates smoking cigarettes but it provides a less harmful alternative because unlike its traditional comparison, it doesn’t contain tobacco, tar or fire, it has no bad smells, and will not cause the diseases and death in the same fashion as James Bond’s nicotine ladened cigarettes would.
Perhaps the UK’s leading supplier of Electronic Cigarettes and smoking alternatives is Intellicig, who say their product provides “an easy way to inhale nicotine, giving a satisfying ‘throat hit’ and pleasant after-taste and the freedom to use anywhere.”
