Never Say Never Again Gadgets
Domination etc.
You wouldn’t ordinarily consider a swanky Monte Carlo Casino to be home to a computer games room, but this was 1983 – Space Invaders, Galaxian, Donkey Kong, Asteroids, and many more arcade games were the thing to spend your lunch money on in the local arcades that were springing up all over the globe.
A Monte Carlo Casino would have been exactly the place to find such cutting edge entertainment technology.
Domination was Largo’s game of choice, and it certainly had a sting in its tail.
Such table games were not yet available in large numbers, and the 3D nature of the lethal device was way ahead of its time, but not such a stretch of the imagination to be anything other than impressed while watching the movie.

Largo described the game to 007, "The game is called Domination. I designed it myself. But my problem is, I have never yet found a worthy adversary."
007: "No doubt, I will disappoint you to." Largo: "We'll see." In what quickly turns into a testosterone battle, Largo then goes on to inflict some major punishment, and 007 is forced to release the electronic shock hand controllers and fall to the floor, while on the verge of passing out. Of course that isn't sufficient for Bond, "Can we play one more game - for the rest of the world." |
Needless to say, Largo is forced to prematurely let go of his controllers and 007 wins the erm, battle of will.
