Earpiece Conference Call
To link up all of the operatives and VIPs of Dominic Green’s secret plans at a rather weird operatic event, earpieces are handed out at the entrance in specially numbered goodie bags. Kindly presented in a little presentation box, the device is placed in the ear and a good old chat can ensue among bad guys.
007 ‘confiscates’ a device from an unwitting Green associate, and rather than take a quick picture and send it off to Tanner for identification, he leaves the bathroom (it is at least Craig’s second kill in a public bathroom that we are aware of), and pops out have a good listen to who is chatting.
Interrupting the conversation, 007 offers an opinion, “I really think you people should find a better place to meet.”
The dopes all then stand up so that 007 can take their pictures and send them off to Mi6.
The majority of earpieces come with complete transmitter kits. They are most popular with students who allegedly use them to cheat at exams.
It’s quite simple really – no teacher or invigilator will have a right to ask to inspect ears and a transmitter can easily be included within a pen or on a necklace, with which you can communicate with someone much smarter.
Just think, someone could cheat their way through exams in this fashion, get great jobs they are not capable of doing and wreck a country - it could even be occurring in a country near you as you read this!
