The dealer intervenes, "I'm sorry, Mr Demterios..."
Perhaps she thought he was making fun of 007, after all, who puts up a key fob as collateral?

And the star of the show - Texas Hold 'em Poker. A simple gambling game of cards is used as a seduction device, a war of wits and will, and ultimately, a device of death.
Ian Fleming's book of the same game featured a different card game; Chemin de Fer, a variation of Baccarat, but Poker was all the rage at the time of the movie, with poker websites springing up all over the place and major players becoming TV stars overnight.
Oh, almost forgot. James did not win a key fob, he won a proper car.
